Guest lecture by Mr. Joe Cooper on Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) on July 21, 2017
We are proud to announce that Mr. Joe Cooper from the USA will give a guest lecture, titled “Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)” on July 21, 2017, followed by a group exercise and discussion.
The lecture will provide a brief overview of the concept and the application of CCPM in the field of information systems.
In addition to the lecture, he will facilitate a group exercise and a discussion, providing the attendants with key takeaways that can be applied in the practical world in a student or work-related project.
In general, CCPM is a methodology for planning, executing, and managing projects in single and multi-project environments. It helps project leaders/managers manage schedules and deliver faster result, even when resources are limited.
Joe Cooper is a seasoned speaker and a project, program, and portfolio management consultant at DMI in Indianapolis, USA. He has years of experience as an IT project and portfolio manager.
His passion is helping organizations optimize the speed and reliability of their project delivery and turning this improvement into a strategic competitive advantage.
Joe has presented project management and leadership topics at PMI global and regional congresses in the US, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, as well as at TOCICO International Conferences (in South Africa, etc.).
Joe earned his PMP certificate in 2003 and is also certified by the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO) to provide critical chain project management consultancy.
Interested colleagues, students, and practitioners are warmly invited to attend the guest lecture session in room S06 S00 B41 from 10:00 to 12:00 on July 21, 2017.
